We feel the pleasure of contributing to the gathering of scientists from different fields and disciplines in the first meeting of the congress organized and held by Ýstanbul Association of Science and Academicians. As of the existence of the world, studies have been carried out scientifically and technically in many different areas for human and the environment. We see and observe that very different approaches have been realized regarding the events experienced and to be experienced from past to present on a daily basis. For this reason, it is our main aim to make use of these values transferred to future and to benefit from every aspect, especially the investments for the future. The aim of the congress is to provide papers from different disciplines and fields especially active aging and public health. The main purpose of this gathering is to address and discuss the positive and negative aspects experienced in old age and active aging scientifically and to contribute to development of solution strategies. Such topics as socio-cultural life of individuals during active aging process, nutrition, health, cultural, psychological, physical and sports activities, psychological practices, law, local administration practices, healthcare institutions management and practices for elderly, patient care, use of drugs, hygiene, public practices, communication, personal performance, group studies, artistic events and activities, health tourism and thermal practices, oral and dental health, orthopedic and physical problems, inter-family relations, inter-personal relations, intergenerational harmony and international health policies will be addressed in the congress. During the congress, opportunities will be provided for meeting all kinds of health problems of elderly, social problems, housing, need for care, services offered by public and private sector and the practices for these services. We hope that the congress will be beneficial for all participant disciplines, followers and the whole science world.
